Chris is the founder of Melbourne Football Academy and brings a wealth of experience and extensive knowledge of the game. After playing football himself, he turned his passion towards educating and inspiring the next generation of players.

Accredited by Football Federation Australia and the Australian Sports Commission, Chris has attained numerous domestic and international coaching qualifications. His development journey has taken him abroad to Holland, where he expanded his expertise through the Johan Cruyff Institute and coaching workshops with the Ajax Online Academy. These experiences have shaped his modern football methodology, aligning with both Australian and global standards of player development.

With his unique training methods and deep understanding of youth development, Chris has guided countless players on their football journeys. Many of his students have successfully progressed from the Academy into professional environments, including Melbourne Victory FC, Melbourne City FC, Western United FC, Central Coast Mariners, State teams, and even the Australian National Team. His influence also extends internationally, with players moving on to clubs in football-rich nations such as Spain and England including Arsenal FC and Crystal Palace FC. 

At the core of Chris’s philosophy is not only developing technical and tactical ability but also shaping positive, confident individuals. He continuously invests in the growth of Melbourne Football Academy by integrating high-tech equipment, advanced tactical methodologies, and innovative, engaging training tools.

Through his leadership, passion, and commitment, Chris has established Melbourne Football Academy as a trusted pathway for young footballers to achieve their potential both on and off the field.
